Who we are
InsulationMatch.co.uk is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact hello@insulationmatch.co.uk for any request about your data; the operating company's registered details are available on request and are stated on every quotation.
What we collect
- When you use the home check: postcode, property type, tenure, insulation area, current condition and goal.
- If you ask for quotes: name, phone number, email address, and the consent you gave with its wording version and timestamp.
- Technical data: pages visited, referring page, campaign parameters and device type, for analytics.
Why we use it
- To show you a likely insulation route and cost band (legitimate interest in providing the service you requested).
- To share your enquiry with up to two vetted installers so they can contact you about it (consent, given at the point of submission).
- To send you optional guides and funding updates only if you opted in separately (consent, withdrawable at any time).
- To improve the site and measure which pages lead to useful outcomes (legitimate interest; anonymised where possible).
Who we share it with
The installers you asked us to match — up to two, named in our records — for the purpose of contacting you about your enquiry only. Our form processing provider (Formspree) and analytics provider process data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records for 24 months, then deleted or anonymised. Consent records for as long as required to demonstrate consent. Analytics data per the provider's retention settings.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent. Email hello@insulationmatch.co.uk. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Marketing calls
Installers contact you about your enquiry only. Any separate marketing by us is by email, only with your opt-in, and screened against the Telephone Preference Service where calls are involved.
